Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Question: Why is the page called the addictive brain when you are open to other fields?
Our founding team member, Dr. Chinmaya Sadangi, is a Neuroscientist and loves anything to do with the brain. He came up with this name after reading a book of the same name, and we instantly locked it down because we felt that it represents the entire science community. With the title 'The Addictive Brain,' we wanted to imply that every scientist's brain is addicted to constant learning and thinking. And that's why it sounded so apt.
Question: How much does it cost to be a part of The Addictive Brain, and what is the cost for submission?
The Addictive Brain is an open-source platform. Therefore there is no cost associated with submission or being featured on our pages. However, we appreciate donations. If you are interested in donating to The Addictive Brain, please follow this link.
Question: Is The Addictive Brain a non-profit?
We are in the process of registering. The Addictive Brain is a non-profit. We have submitted our request to the government bodies, but due to COVID-19, the processing time has significantly increased.
Question: Does my contribution have to be neuroscience/brain related?
No, your contribution can be related to any STEMM field. We encourage everyone from STEMM science to participate, and we aim to spread awareness about science in general.
Question: I see that your page only features scientists; I'm a bachelor's/master's student. Can I participate?
